Nikon 1

You might have been mistaken for thinking Nikon had made a conscious decision to not enter the mirror-less camera market, it seems however they were merely waiting for the right moment and spending time perfecting heir Nikon 1 range.
The line consists of just two cameras, the J1 ($650) and the V1 ($900) which will feature 10.1 Megapixel CMOS sensors and will introduce a new interchangeable mount system which includes a 10-30mm f/3.5, 30-110mm f/3.8, 10mm f/2.8, a 10-100mm f/3.5 zoom, and of course, a F-mount adapter for any existing Nikkor glass you might have. The camera will also feature a high speed hybrid autofocus system, and the new EXPEED 3 image processing engine.
